Testimonials and Letters
from former HOMEPLACE of Stanley Tenants & Families
Stanley:
On behalf of the entire Josephine (Josie) Zais family, I want to thank the entire staff for the excellent care mom received during her 3+ years at your facility. It appeared to us that mom was always treated as if she was staff’s mother and each staff member provided the care they felt their mom would want and need. Mom was always treated with comfort, kindness and respect. We were fortunate in that mom accepted the move to the HomePlace and this was primarily because of the staff’s caring and always professional attitude.
There is a story to tell when mom was first moved up to the Haven and was the only resident there for a period of 2 months. She had full time care and staff spent a considerable amount of time with mom doing a variety of things. It reached a point where mom said to me “we should not pay the amount of rent her, as I have all this staff living with me and even eating my food”. She was serious-she never had that much attention in her life!
I would highly recommend the HomePlace for any individual who has reached a point of needing assisted living or even their new accommodations with various levels of services available. The other recommendation is to remain involved with your relative and the staff. The staff was always willing to discuss mom’s health and provide whatever services deemed necessary.
Thanks to all at the HomePlace. Mom’s 3+ years were great and her family had a great deal of comfort knowing she was being taken care of as she was. ----Don Zais----
Haven:
Dear Friends (staff) of the Haven Unit, How can we express the deep, thankful appreciation of the tender loving care you gave Mom. I thank God that He allowed circumstances that lead us to "HomePlace". No better tender care could Mom have recieved than from all of you. I 'm so glad you recongnized her scense of humor and joked with her. Each one of you played a very important part in her last days for which we are grateful. In your vocation you make such an impact on your clients and also their families. May God bless you as you have blessed Mom, Dad, John, and I. ----With much love and apprecieation, Marie A Link's Family----
