It is our intent that your move to The HOMEPLACE assisted living apartments will be the last move you will ever need to make. However here is a brief summary of answers to questions...

What happens when any initial discount I receive expires?

Your invoice will automatically show the corrected charges you would have. Later, if you earn additional discounts for referring another new tenant that moves in, your invoice will once again change to reflect that discount for a given time period.

How does the required automatic payment work with differing invoice amounts?

Our automatic payment system allows us to generate the payment request. Therefore we can debit the correct amount if you have different monthly fees.

What if I am ill and need more help for a while or permanently?

You will have the opportunity to contract with us for additional hours while you recover. When and if you return to your previous health we will reinstate your previous contracted rate. If you find you will continue to need additional personal or domestic cares we will re-negotiate a new service agreement that meets your needs.

What if I require full service health care supervision?

You always have the option of remaining in your same apartment at a full service charge rate. This includes all meals, cleaning, laundry, and any other personal and health care needs up to 2 hours per week.
However, remember the full service rate in the larger 5th Avenue apartments will reflect the size and amenities of these apartments. As an existing HOMEPLACE tenant, you do also have the option of moving to the top of our waiting list for one of our standard RCAC apartments. The size of these apartments reflects a lower rental rate.

Who decides if I need full service?

The state of Wisconsin operation codes for an RCAC require this decision to be made by a Registered Nurse or Physician. The decision is to be made in cooperation with the tenant and their family based on the safety of the tenant and those around them. No change would be made without the participation and consideration of the tenant and their family's involvment.
